Fun While Flying

As the government decides how to change the in-flight rules, they are considering making everyone stay in their seat for the last hour of the flight. No bathroom trips, no stand-and-stretch, no access to your overhead bags, etc. A website came up with fun ideas to fill this time... kind of corny, but the last one made me laugh out loud just thinking of it.

Barf Bag Puppet Theatre - Unless planning a horror show, avoid those sacks that have already been used.

Pocket Scavenger Hunt - A regular scavenger hunt is a particular challenge since you can't stand to get into the overhead bin. So, you are limited to what is in your pocket, seat-back, or on the floor.

Cabinwide Singalong - The last hour of your trip can be used to perfect the multi-chorus verses of “Row, Row, Row Your Boat”.

Marco Polo - Be the person on your flight to suddenly shout out “Marco!” during that last hour when others are looking for things to do. It might take a few tries, but eventually someone somewhere on the plane will respond with a “Polo!” if for no other reason than to shut you up. Entertainment achieved .

Yep. The last one is the best- especially with the cartoon faces! It would be really funny if everyone in the plane would shout "Polo!".
