This is a case where the Word Lens iPhone app would have been helpful (see previous post).All road signs in Wales must be in both English and Welsh. An official road sign was being made to direct large trucks to drive around a residential area. The English portion was written and then emailed to an in-house translation service. Once they received a reply, the sign was made and installed. Before too long, Welsh speakers began pointing out that the bottom portion of the sign translates to: "I am not in the office at the moment. Send any work to be translated".
